Tucson Ruff Runners works with Tucson’s only open access animal shelter, Pima Animal Care Center (PACC). The group meets at PACC on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings to exercise the dogs and give them a break from their kennels.
Rusty
This week, I had the pleasure of walking and running with a number of wonderful dogs, all with very different energy levels and personalities. Two of my favorites were Gordo and Rusty. Gordo is a gentle, well-behaved boy, who runs at an easy pace on his leash that’s perfect for me. Rusty could learn some manners from Gordo, but he makes up for it with his sweet personality (loves cuddling and treats). I hope they both find their forever families soon!
